Digital Transformation During COVID

Overview

As Digital Content Curator and Marketing Manager, I led the digital marketing for Ponte Winery, Ponte Vineyard Inn, BOTTAIA Winery, and Hawks View Winery. My role included managing all aspects of content strategy, campaigns, and brand presence, ensuring each property maintained a consistent voice while driving engagement and sales.


Challenge

When the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted in-person hospitality and wine tourism, Ponte needed to pivot quickly to digital-first strategies. The challenge was to maintain brand identity across multiple properties while shifting focus to e-commerce, virtual experiences, and online engagement to sustain revenue and customer loyalty.


Approach

  • Directed the digital transformation during COVID, prioritizing online sales and member engagement.

  • Built and managed a content calendar covering email campaigns, social media, and promotional activations.

  • Designed and executed a discount and promotional calendar to align with seasonal demand and customer buying patterns.

  • Led email campaign strategy, from creative to reporting, to nurture member relationships and drive bookings.

  • Updated websites to improve SEO, user experience, and e-commerce functionality.

  • Directed photography and creative content production for products, social media, and campaigns.

  • Partnered with influencers and PR to extend reach through events and digital collaborations.
