Driving Growth for an Iconic Cutlery Brand

Overview 

Lamson Products, one of America’s oldest cutlery manufacturers, partnered with me at Digital Ink to manage its full digital marketing presence. I served as an extension of their team, overseeing strategy, creative, and execution across campaigns, e-commerce, and brand growth. With my web design team and developer, I led the digital transformation and marketing operations to achieve the current marketing flow.


Challenge 

Lamson needed to modernize their digital presence and streamline marketing efforts to drive consistent sales growth. Their marketing team consisted of a single employee with little marketing background racing to keep up with current marketing trends and best practices. Once they’ve completed a rebrand and redesign of their website, their challenge was balancing their updated heritage branding with new digital-first strategies while improving campaign performance year-round. 


Approach

  • Built and managed a sales and discount calendar to align promotions with seasonal demand.

  • Directed photography and influencer campaigns to elevate product storytelling and social reach.

  • Managed affiliate marketing and loyalty program to strengthen customer retention.

  • Designed and ran email campaigns, optimizing creative and engagement.

  • Created and designed holiday e-commerce landing pages for holiday campaigns.  

  • Consulted on and managed website improvements to support e-commerce conversions.

  • Oversaw reporting and analytics to inform decisions and track growth.

  • Acted as account lead, managing the brand’s entire digital marketing function.

  • $769,900 net revenue (↑ 6%).

  • $717,075 profit (↑ 1.8%).

  • Holiday campaigns (Black Friday + Dec 2024) drove record seasonal sales.

  • Mobile conversion rate improved 52.6% YoY.

  • Gross sales via Google CPC hit $210,883 with an average order value of $111.70.
